Kano State Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Provides Emergency Assistance to Unknown Person
Yesterday, the Honourable Commissioner of the Kano State Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Hajiya Amina Abdullahi Sani, received an emergency call from good Samaritans about an unknown man in distress under Kofar Nassarawa Flyover.
The man had been living there for over a month and was seriously ill.
The Honourable Commissioner, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Hajiya Amina Yusuf Yargaya, immediately swung into action.
She assigned the good Samaritans to shave and bathe the man, providing them with donations to purchase soap, detergent, and clothes.
The man was then rushed to the emergency unit of Murtala Muhammad Hospital, where Matron Hussaina Sani provided immediate medical attention.
The Honourable Commissioner has pledged to continue providing care and support to the unknown man as part of the Ministry’s humanitarian efforts.
The Permanent Secretary, Hajiya Amina Yargaya, expressed gratitude to the Matron and the good Samaritans for their kindness and promised to continue working together to provide support to those in need.
