Eighth Members of Investigation Committee Setup by the Kebbi State Government to Unravel the causes of the Students riots at College of Health Science Jega will begin Sitting.
One of the Committee Member Yakubu Ahmed BirninKebbi and Commissioner of Information and Culture Kebbi State told the AIT online that the Committee will invite and interface with all stakeholders including Students, Teachers, School Management and Security Personnel.
Yakubu Ahmed assured that the Committee will go the extra mile to Unravel the Causes of the riot, uncover the circumstances leading to it, Investigation roles played each stakeholders, apportion blame where it’s established and recommend measures to be taken to avert future occurrence.
Yakubu warned that the State Government will not tolerate dereliction of duty, indiscipline and any act that has the potential to step the State backward.
The Commissioner said Members Would be firm and Uncompromising on the side of truth. The Committee which has two week to Conclude it’s assignment is chaired by the State Commissioner of Environment Muhammadu Tungulawa.
